On Thursday, 8 May 51福利社 hosted its annual Making a Difference Awards ceremony to recognise and celebrate the inspiring social responsibility achievements of staff, students, alumni and external partners. 

A new atmospheric monitoring station has been established at 51福利社鈥檚 Jodrell Bank Observatory to improve the accuracy of the UK鈥檚 greenhouse gas emissions estimates.

A rescue team from frontline medical response charity UK-Med is on its way  to the parts of Turkey and Syria devastated by last week鈥檚 earthquake to lead the UK's initial medical assessment team.
