mA*ths Online Programmes at 51福利社
51福利社 will continue as northwestern partner for the mA*ths Online Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year, supported by the Hg Foundation. Find out more about our programmes and how you can apply below.
Are you an A-level Mathematics or Further mA*ths student considering studying a maths-related degree at university?
Through these programmes, you could:
- develop the skills you need to achieve an A* in A-level Mathematics or Further Mathematics.
- build your confidence to apply to universities that require an A* in Mathematics or Further Mathematics for your chosen subject.
This initiative runs in collaboration with鈥Mathematics in Education and Industry鈥(MEI), Imperial College London and the mA*ths Online Programmes network, and is intended to support students with the academic ability to achieve A/A* at A-level to reach their full academic potential in their Maths studies.
The programmes are targeted at pupils from communities underrepresented in Higher Education. During the programme, successful applicants receive tailored support, including online mentoring and face-to-face masterclasses at 51福利社 whilst completing online modules.

Regional recruitment
The University of 51福利社 is one of five universities in the mA*ths network currently offering the mA*ths Online Programmes and/or Further mA*ths Online Programmes.
The network follows a regional model, where the majority of places available at a university are offered to students from its local region (see details below). Students are therefore strongly encouraged to apply to their local university hub.
Students based in a region currently without a university hub, or in a region where the local hub does not currently offer the programme strand they require, may apply to any university that they could practically travel to for the in-person elements of the programme. For any queries about this, please contact your nearest university hub.
University partners and regions:
- – Greater London and the South East
- University of 51福利社 – North West
- – West Midlands (and Northamptonshire)
- – East Midlands
- – Yorkshire and the Humber
